Terms and conditions for the GlowCamp travel book

Last updated: October 2026

This is an English translation for your convenience. Only the German version is legally binding.

1. Scope and seller

These terms apply to all orders for printed travel books (“travel book”) that you place through the GlowCamp app. The seller and your contracting party is:

EDV-Technik Dennis Weimer
Owner: Dennis Weimer
Franz-Rector-Straße 1, 55411 Bingen, Germany
E-mail: support@glowcamp.de
VAT ID: DE311388489

The travel book is intended for consumers. Differing terms apply only if we expressly agree to them.

We deliver the travel book to the countries of the European Union and to Switzerland. The payment page shows you which countries are available for your book.

2. Conclusion of the contract

You put the travel book together in the app from your own travel data, photos and texts. The preview in the app is not yet a binding offer from us. By clicking the payment button on the payment page of our payment service provider Stripe, you make a binding offer to purchase the travel book. The contract is concluded when the payment has been successful and we confirm the order to you by e-mail (usually with the invoice).

The language of the contract is German. We do not store the contract text separately; you will find the essential details in the invoice that you receive by e-mail and in these terms, which you can access here at any time.

3. Service

The travel book is a hardcover photo book in A4 landscape format (29.7 × 21 cm) with the number of pages shown in the app. It is made individually to your specifications. It is printed and shipped by our printing partner Peecho B.V., Amsterdam, Netherlands, on our behalf.

The preview in the app shows the layout and content exactly as they will be printed. Slight differences in colour, brightness and trimming compared with the display on your screen are due to technical reasons and are not a defect. If the app tells you that a photo is too small for printing, it may look blurred in the book; if you order anyway, this is not a defect either.

4. Prices and shipping

The prices shown in the app and on the payment page apply. They are final prices including statutory VAT, where applicable, and shipping costs. Delivery countries are the countries of the European Union and Switzerland; you can see on the payment page which of these are available for your book. You cannot select other countries there.

For delivery to Switzerland, the price does not include Swiss import charges. If VAT, customs duties or delivery service fees are charged on import, you bear them.

5. Payment

You pay when you order via the Stripe payment page (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland) using one of the payment methods offered there. The purchase price is due when you order. For payment methods with later confirmation (for example SEPA Direct Debit), we only send the book to print after the payment has been successful.

6. Delivery

Production usually takes 4 to 5 working days, shipping to Germany and Austria usually takes a further 2 to 7 working days, to other delivery countries up to 10 working days, and in peak season (for example before Christmas) it may take longer. These figures are approximate values. As soon as your book has been shipped, we will let you know in the app; our printing partner Peecho will send the shipping confirmation with the tracking number directly to your e-mail address. If your book cannot be printed or delivered, we will refund the amount you paid in full.

After payment, your book goes to print immediately. Changes to the content or delivery address are then usually no longer possible. If you have entered an incorrect address, please write immediately to support@glowcamp.de; we will try to stop the order, but cannot promise that we will be able to.

Please enter a complete residential address; we cannot deliver the book to parcel lockers or PO boxes.

If your book has still not arrived 2 weeks after the shipping notification, please contact us at support@glowcamp.de.

7. No right of withdrawal

The travel book is made to your personal specifications (your photos, texts and travel data). For such goods there is no statutory right of withdrawal under Section 312g(2) no. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB). Please therefore check the preview carefully before ordering. Your statutory warranty rights (section 9) remain unaffected by this.

8. Your content

You are responsible for the content of your travel book. By ordering, you confirm that you hold the necessary rights to the photos and texts used and that the people shown have agreed to the printing. Content that violates applicable law is not permitted. We do not check your content in advance, but may refuse to print if we become aware of a violation of the law; in that case we will refund the amount you paid.

So that we can produce your book, you allow us to store your photos and texts for this purpose, to edit them (e.g. size and image crop), to create the print file from them and to pass this on to our printing partner. We use your photos and texts only to create and print your book and to handle complaints – not for advertising or any other purposes. Beyond this, we do not acquire any rights to your content.

How we process your photos and texts for printing and when we delete them is set out in our privacy policy.

9. Defects

Your statutory warranty rights apply. If your book is faulty, damaged or does not arrive, we will print it again and send it to you free of charge. If a reprint is not possible or is unsuccessful, we will refund the purchase price.

Reprint, for example in the case of:

Please check your book in the preview before ordering – exactly this preview is what gets printed.

The following are not defects, as you designed them yourself and confirmed them in the preview:

If you make a complaint, please send us photos of the defect (e.g. affected pages, packaging) to support@glowcamp.de. Please report a defect within 14 days of receipt; if your book has not arrived, please contact us no later than 2 weeks after the shipping notification (section 6). These time limits are a request so that we can quickly resolve the case with the print shop; if you contact us later, you do not lose any rights as a result.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected. There is no right of withdrawal because the book is made personally to your specifications (section 7).

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz). In the case of slight negligence, we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations, and limited to the typical damage that was foreseeable when the contract was concluded.

11. Dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. If you have any questions or problems, simply write to us at support@glowcamp.de.

12. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If your habitual residence is in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer protection provisions of that country. Should any provision be invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid.
